Fablab Tainan is part of the Tainan Digital Creative Park (TDCP), where it support entrepreneurs and local citizens to create own projects in the life by Tainan City Government, and managed by Association of Digital Culture, Taiwan (ADCT). It is also one of the main Fablabs in Taiwan founded in 2013. Tainan, located in southern Taiwan, is a dynamic and vivid city with approximately 300 clear and sunny days per year. The city boasts its precious historical and cultural assets as a result of the city’s long history – more than 130 historic sites and museums. It is also worth noting that the traditional food culture here is remarkable.
Tainan Digital Creative Park (TDCP) includes two brands. First, “Punplace” – focus on local cultural and creative development, and accompany entrepreneurs to startup. And second “Fablab Tainan” – is the first Fablab located in southern Taiwan, trying to match digital fabrication, traditional manufacturing and cultural for long time, and also encourage people to “making” in the life by Fablab.
